Blueprint printing in Calgary
More than a million architectural drawings have come off our printers. Your plan set is in experienced hands.

Quick answer
SURE Print Foothills prints blueprints and architectural drawings in Calgary for architects, engineers, contractors and homeowners. We print large format plan sets from PDF or CAD files, reproduce existing paper blueprints, and scan hard copies into digital files. We've printed more than 1,000,000 architectural drawings from our shop at 3660 60 Ave SE.
Calgary builds a lot. New communities keep going up on the edges of the city, infills keep replacing bungalows in the inner city, and every one of those projects needs drawings. Some go to the site trailer, some go to the bank, some go to the homeowner who wants to see where the kitchen island lands. We've printed more than a million of them.
We can produce reproductions, convert hard copies or digital files into high quality blueprints, digitally scan blueprints, and more. In practice that means you can email us a PDF plan set and pick up printed, collated sets, or drop off a roll of old drawings and get them back as clean copies and digital files.
Walk-ins are welcome. Bring your files on a USB stick, email them ahead, or hand us the originals at the counter.

Why SURE
Why Calgary businesses bring this work to us
Over a million drawings printed
We've printed more than 1,000,000 architectural drawings. We know what a plan set needs and where things usually go wrong.
Print, copy and scan in one place
New prints, copies of old sheets and digital scans all happen under one roof, so a renovation project doesn't need three different suppliers.
True to scale
We print at 100% so a dimension you measure with a scale ruler on the sheet matches the drawing. If a file isn't set up at the right size, we'll flag it before printing.
Easy to reach from the south and east
We're at 3660 60 Ave SE, close to Deerfoot and Glenmore, which makes for a quick stop between the office and a site.
Common drawing sizes
Most architectural sets in Canada use ARCH sizes. ARCH D (24" x 36") is the workhorse for residential and small commercial plans, and ARCH E (36" x 48") shows up on larger projects. Engineering drawings often use ANSI sizes like 22" x 34". Half-size sets are popular on site because they're easier to flip through in a truck cab.
If you're not sure what size your drawings were drawn at, check the title block or send us the file. We'll confirm the size and scale before anything prints.

FAQ
Blueprint Printing questions
How much does blueprint printing cost in Calgary?
It depends on the sheet size, how many sheets are in the set, how many sets you need and whether the drawings are black and white or colour. Folding, binding and scanning add to it. Send us the files and the quantity, and we'll email a detailed quote.
What file types do you accept for blueprints?
PDF is the safest choice because it locks in sizes, line weights and fonts. If you're working in AutoCAD or Revit, export to PDF at the correct sheet size. We can also work from TIFF files and paper originals.
Can you print blueprints in colour?
Yes. We print black and white line drawings and full-colour plans, renderings, site plans and landscaping drawings.
Do you scan old blueprints?
Yes. We scan paper drawings into digital files you can store, email, mark up and reprint.
Can I walk in with my plans?
Yes. Walk-ins are welcome, no appointment needed. For bigger sets, emailing the files ahead gives us time to check them before you arrive.
Ready when you are
