A plan set is only useful if the scale is right. Print a sheet at 97% because a setting got switched to fit-to-page, and every measurement taken off it on site is wrong. That's the first thing we check on every job: the sheet size in the file matches the paper, and the print goes out at 100%.
After that, it's about getting sets into the right hands. We collate by sheet number, so A-101 follows A-100 and the structural sheets don't end up in the middle of the architectural ones. Export each sheet at its real paper size, not letter size with a shrunken drawing inside. Keep all sheets in one PDF in the order you want them printed. Check that fonts are embedded and that line weights look right when you zoom in. If you're unsure, send it anyway. We'll tell you what needs fixing before we print anything.

What size are architectural drawings?
The most common size for residential plans is ARCH D, 24" x 36". Larger projects often use ARCH E at 36" x 48", and half-size sets are commonly printed at 12" x 18" or 11" x 17".
Can you print my plans for a City of Calgary permit?
We can print your drawings to the sizes and quantities you need for any submission. The City sets its own requirements for permit drawings, so check what your application calls for before you order.
How many sets can you print?
From a single sheet to dozens of full sets. Larger orders get quoted with the turnaround spelled out, so you can plan around tender or site dates.
Will the print be to scale?
Yes, as long as the file is set up at the correct sheet size. We print at 100% and check sheet sizes before printing.
