Brochure printing in Calgary
A brochure is the part of your sales pitch that stays behind after you leave. We design, print and fold them so they open the way they should.

Quick answer
SURE Print Foothills designs and prints full-colour brochures in Calgary, including bi-fold, tri-fold, Z-fold and gate fold styles. We print on Xerox digital and Heidelberg offset presses, then score and fold every brochure in-house so it lies flat and opens cleanly. You approve a proof before printing.
Brochures have more room than a flyer and less commitment than a booklet. They're where you explain your services, list your prices, show a few photos and answer the questions people ask at the front desk every day.
The tricky part is the fold. Panels have to be slightly different widths so they tuck inside each other, and the content has to read in the right order once it's folded. We set that up correctly from the start, so you don't end up with your contact info printed on the inside flap.
Options
Brochure folds and formats
Bi-fold
One fold down the middle for four panels. Clean and simple, good for menus, programs and service overviews.
Tri-fold
Two folds for six panels. The classic rack brochure that slips into a #10 envelope.
Z-fold
Folds like an accordion, so a map, timeline or step-by-step process can run across the panels.
Gate fold
Two side panels fold in to meet in the middle, then open like doors to a big inside spread.
Stock and coating
Gloss for photo-heavy brochures, matte or uncoated when people need to write on them.

Writing for a folded page
People read a tri-fold in a strange order. They see the front cover, then usually flip it over or open the first flap before they ever see the full inside spread. Put your name and the main reason to call on the cover, your contact details on the back panel, and save the long explanations for the inside. Short paragraphs and a few headings help more than squeezing in every detail.
FAQ
Brochures questions
How much does brochure printing cost?
Pricing depends on quantity, sheet size, fold style, paper and coating. A small digital run and a large offset run are priced very differently per piece. Send us your details and we'll email a quote.
What's the most popular brochure size?
A letter-size sheet (8.5 x 11 inches) folded into a tri-fold is the most common. It fits standard display racks and a #10 envelope. Tabloid sheets folded in half are popular for bigger catalogues and programs.
Can you design a brochure from scratch?
Yes. Send us your logo, text and any photos you have. Our designers lay it out panel by panel and you approve a proof before printing.
Why do my folded brochures crack along the fold?
Heavier and coated stocks crack when they're folded without scoring first. We score every brochure before folding to give it a clean crease.
