Custom product labels in Calgary
Your label is the first thing a customer reads. We print labels that fit the container and look like they came from a much bigger company.
Quick answer
Product labels are printed adhesive labels made for packaging, such as jars, bottles, tins, bags and boxes. SURE Print Foothills prints custom product labels in Calgary in full colour, cut to any shape, on paper or vinyl stock with removable or permanent adhesive, supplied on sheets or rolls for small makers and growing brands.
A label has a lot to do in a small space. It has to look good on a shelf next to bigger brands, fit a curved jar without wrinkling, and hold everything you need to say: name, flavour or scent, ingredients, weight and a barcode. Then it has to stay on through the fridge, the bath or the back of a delivery truck.
We print labels for food producers, candle and soap makers, breweries, cosmetics brands and anyone with something to sell at a market or online. Tell us about your container and how the product gets used, and we'll match the label stock and finish to it. We also print removable labels for things like seasonal promos and price changes.
Options
Label options
Any shape and size
Circles, ovals, rectangles or a custom outline, cut in-house to fit your container.
Paper or vinyl stock
Paper for dry goods and a natural look. Vinyl when the product gets wet, oily or cold.
Clear labels
A no-label look on glass and clear plastic, so the product shows through.
Gloss or matte finish
Gloss makes colours pop. Matte reads as more natural and premium, and it's easier to write on.
Sheets or rolls
Sheets for hand application on small runs. Rolls for faster labelling as you grow.
Permanent or removable
Permanent for product packaging. Removable for promotions, samples and temporary pricing.

Check your label rules before you print
Food and cosmetic labels in Canada have rules about what has to appear and how. Bilingual text, ingredient lists, net quantity and nutrition information can all apply, depending on what you sell. We print what's on your approved artwork, so get the wording checked against the federal requirements for your product category before you sign off on the proof. Reprinting a whole run because a line is missing is no fun.
FAQ
Product Labels questions
How much do custom product labels cost?
Price depends on the label size, shape, stock, finish and quantity. The cost per label drops as quantity goes up. Send us your container size and how many you need, and we'll email a detailed quote at a couple of quantities.
Can labels go in the fridge or freezer?
Yes, with the right stock. Vinyl labels with a suitable adhesive handle cold and condensation much better than paper. Tell us how your product is stored and we'll pick the material.
Do you print labels on rolls?
Yes. We supply labels on rolls or sheets. Rolls are faster if you're applying a lot of labels, and sheets are easy for smaller batches.
Can you help with label design?
Yes. Our designers work on product labels regularly and can set up a design that's readable at small sizes and fits your container. You approve a proof before printing.
