Full and partial vehicle wraps in Calgary

Turn the whole vehicle into a billboard, or wrap just the panels people actually look at.

Full and partial vehicle wraps in Calgary

Quick answer

A full wrap covers the painted surfaces of a vehicle in printed or coloured vinyl. A partial wrap covers selected areas, like the sides, back or hood, and blends into the paint. SURE Print Foothills designs, prints and installs both in Calgary, in gloss, matte and carbon fibre finishes.

A full wrap gives you every square inch of the vehicle to work with. You can change the colour completely, run a photo down both sides, and still fit a logo and phone number big enough to read from across a parking lot.

A partial wrap is the budget-friendly version. We pick the panels with the most visibility, design graphics that work with your existing paint colour, and leave the rest alone. Done well, most people can't tell where the vinyl ends.

Options

Finishes we work with

Gloss

Bright, saturated colour with a shine close to factory paint. It's the most popular choice for printed wraps.

Matte

A flat, modern look that cuts glare and makes bold colours and black really stand out.

Carbon fibre

Textured vinyl that looks like woven carbon. Great on hoods, roofs, mirrors and accent strips.

Colour change

Solid colour vinyl when you want the vehicle a different colour without a paint job.

What to expect

How your full & partial vehicle wraps order works

  1. 1

    Measure and quote

Send us the make, model and year, or bring the vehicle by. We check the paint and confirm how much coverage you want.

  2. 2

    Design on a template

Our designers lay your artwork on a template for your exact vehicle so handles, seams and curves don't cut through anything important.

  3. 3

    Print and laminate

Panels print on our HP Latex printers, then get laminated to protect them from UV, road salt and scratches.

  4. 4

    Install

We clean and prep the surface, install the panels, trim the edges and post-heat the vinyl so it stays where it belongs.

Who wraps their vehicles

  • Trades and contractors who park at job sites all day
  • Food trucks and mobile businesses that need to be spotted from down the street
  • Real estate agents and small business owners who drive around town all week
  • Car enthusiasts who want a matte, satin or carbon look without paint
  • Event and promotional vehicles that need a temporary look

Looking after your wrap

Hand wash when you can and keep pressure washers away from the edges. Park in a garage or the shade when it's an option, because UV is what ages vinyl fastest. If an edge ever starts to lift, bring it in early. A small fix now beats replacing a panel later.

FAQ

Full & Partial Vehicle Wraps questions

What's the difference between a full and partial wrap?

A full wrap covers the whole painted body. A partial wrap covers selected sections, often the sides and back, and uses the vehicle's paint colour as part of the design. Partial wraps cost less and still get your message across.

How long does the install take?

It depends on the vehicle and the coverage. Small partial jobs can be quick, while a full wrap on a large van takes longer. We'll give you a time estimate with your quote so you can plan around it.

Can you wrap over scratches or rust?

Vinyl follows the surface underneath, so dents, rust and peeling clear coat will show through and can affect how well it sticks. We'll point out problem areas when we look at the vehicle.

Can I take the wrap off later?

Yes. A properly installed wrap on factory paint can be removed when you sell the vehicle or rebrand.
