Menu printing in Calgary

Your menu gets read by every single customer. It should be easy to read in dim light and tough enough to survive a Friday night service.

Menu printing in Calgary

Quick answer

SURE Print Foothills designs and prints menus for Calgary restaurants, bars, cafes and food trucks. We produce dinner menus, bar and drink menus, happy hour menus, laminated menus, folded menus and multi-page menu books. Everything is printed in-house at our shop in southeast Calgary, and you approve a proof before we print.

A menu works hard. It gets handled by greasy fingers, wiped down between tables, propped against water glasses and dropped on the patio when a chinook gust comes through. It also has a direct effect on what people order, which is why the layout matters as much as the paper.

We print menus for every kind of room: neighbourhood pubs, family restaurants, coffee shops, catering companies and the pop-up stands that show up around Stampede. Our designers can lay out a new menu from a typed list, or we can print the file your designer already made. When prices change, we keep your file on hand so a reprint only takes a quick edit.

Options

Menu formats

Single-page menus

One sheet, printed one or both sides. Simple to reprint when the specials change.

Folded menus

Bi-fold and tri-fold layouts that split food, drinks and desserts into clear panels.

Laminated menus

Sealed in lamination so you can wipe them down between tables. A good pick for busy family restaurants and patios.

Menu books

Multi-page menus bound together for larger wine lists, cocktail programs and restaurants with a long menu.

Bar and happy hour menus

Smaller drink cards and happy hour sheets that sit on the bar or the table next to the main menu.

Takeout menus

Lighter, cheaper menus for bags, delivery orders and handing out at the counter.

What to expect

How your menus order works

  1. 1

    Send your menu items

A typed list, an old menu with handwritten changes or a finished design file. All of these work.

  2. 2

    Layout and proof

We lay out sections so the eye lands on the right items, then send you a proof to check every price and spelling.

  3. 3

    Print and finish

Menus print on our Xerox digital or Heidelberg offset presses, then get folded, laminated or bound as needed.

  4. 4

    Pick up or ship

Collect them at the shop on 60 Ave SE, or we'll ship them if you run locations outside Calgary.

Laminated or paper?

Laminated menus cost more up front but last much longer in a high-traffic room, and you can sanitise them. Paper menus are cheaper and easier to swap when prices move, which matters these days. Lots of our restaurant customers do both: a laminated main menu that stays the same for a year, and a paper insert or table card for specials and seasonal items.

FAQ

Menus questions

How much does it cost to print restaurant menus?

It depends on the size, number of pages, quantity, paper and whether the menus are laminated, folded or bound. A run of paper takeout menus and a set of bound menu books are priced very differently. Send us the details and we'll email you a quote.

Can you laminate menus?

Yes. Lamination protects menus from spills and lets your staff wipe them clean between tables. We can laminate single sheets and folded menus.

Can you design our menu?

Yes. Our in-house designers can build a menu from your item list and logo, or update an existing design. You'll see a proof before printing.

Can we reprint just a few menus when prices change?

Yes. We keep your file on hand, so updating a price or swapping a dish is a small edit. Digital printing makes shorter reprint runs practical.
