A sandwich board is about the hardest working sign a small business can own. It sits on the sidewalk outside your café, salon or shop and catches people who were about to walk past. Fold it up at closing time, carry it inside, and put it back out tomorrow. Change the message when the season changes.
We print the signs at 24" x 36" and pair them with Signicade® frames, a familiar name in sidewalk signs. You can order the complete sign with a frame, or just new panels for a frame you already own. Choose single-sided if the board sits against a wall, or double-sided so foot traffic sees it coming from both directions.

Every panel is 24" x 36". That's the printed area your message goes on, whichever frame you choose.
Standard Signicade® frame
45"H x 25"W x 3"D, in white or black. Signs are printed on 3 mil adhesive vinyl, a durable gloss vinyl that sticks permanently to the face of the frame.
Deluxe Signicade® frame
46.375"H x 27"W x 3"D, in white or black. Signs are printed on 4 mm corrugated plastic and slide into the sides, held in place by side tabs, so you can swap them out.
Single or double-sided
One printed sign for one face of the frame, or one sign for each side so it reads from both directions.
Sign only, no frame

You get a proof showing the layout at size before we print a thing.

Print and assemble
We print on our HP Latex printers, then apply the vinyl or cut the coroplast inserts and fit them to the frame.

Standard or Deluxe: which should you get?
The Standard frame is the simpler choice. The vinyl goes on permanently, so it suits a message that won't change: your logo, what you sell and an arrow to the door. The Deluxe frame is a little larger, and because the coroplast signs slide in and out, you can keep a stack of seasonal panels and swap them in a minute. Stampede week, patio season, holiday hours. If your message changes more than once or twice a year, go Deluxe.

What size is a standard A-frame sign?
Our A-frame signs are 24" x 36". The Standard Signicade® frame measures 45"H x 25"W x 3"D, and the Deluxe frame measures 46.375"H x 27"W x 3"D.
How much does a sandwich board sign cost?
It depends on the frame you choose, single or double-sided printing, and how many you order. Panels on their own cost less than a complete sign with a frame. Send us what you have in mind and we'll email a detailed quote.
Can I change the sign on my A-frame later?
Yes, easily with the Deluxe frame. Its 4 mm coroplast signs slide in and are held by side tabs, so you can swap them whenever you like. Standard frames use permanent adhesive vinyl, so changing the message means new vinyl.
Will an A-frame blow over in Calgary wind?
A strong gust can move any sidewalk sign. Put it somewhere sheltered on windy days and bring it in when a big chinook wind is blowing. Weighting the base helps too.
