Sign shop in Calgary
Sandwich boards for the sidewalk, coroplast for the lawn, a banner for the trade show. We design them, print them and put them up.

Quick answer
SURE Print Foothills is a sign shop in Calgary that designs, prints and installs business signage. We make A-frame sandwich boards, coroplast lawn signs, real estate and construction signs, City of Calgary development notice signs, storefront signs, vinyl banners, retractable stands and feather flags, all produced at our shop at 3660 60 Ave SE.
We've been making signs in Calgary since 1985. In that time we've printed sandwich boards for coffee shops on 17th Avenue, lawn signs for every kind of election, and construction signs that had to survive a February on an open lot in Seton. The materials have changed a lot over the years. The job hasn't: put the right message in front of the right people, big enough to read and tough enough to last.
Everything happens under one roof. Our designers set up the artwork, our HP Latex large format printers handle the printing with water-based inks, and our CNC flatbed router cuts rigid boards to shape. When the sign needs to go up on a wall, a window or a fence, our installers take it from there. You deal with one shop from the first sketch to the last screw.
Not sure what kind of sign you need? Tell us where it's going and who needs to see it. A sign for a strip mall in the northeast reads differently from one on a quiet residential street, and we'll point you to the format that fits.

Why SURE
Why Calgary businesses bring this work to us
Forty-one years of Calgary signs
We know what a chinook, a hailstorm and a road salt season do to a sign, and we choose materials with that in mind.
Design, print and cut in one building
Artwork, HP Latex printing and CNC routing all happen at our shop on 60 Ave SE. No middleman, no files bouncing between vendors.
A proof before anything prints
You see exactly what the sign will say and how it will look before we run it. If we make the mistake, we reprint it.
Signs that match the rest of your brand
The same team prints your business cards, flyers and uniforms, so your colours stay consistent from the sidewalk to the counter.
Picking the right sign for the job
Start with how long the sign needs to last. A weekend open house, a two-week sale or a three-month build each call for different materials. Coroplast is light and inexpensive, so it's perfect for short runs and big quantities. Rigid panels and adhesive vinyl make sense when the sign is staying put for years.
Then think about distance. Someone walking past your shop can read a sandwich board with a short paragraph on it. A driver doing 60 on Macleod Trail gets a second or two, so a flag or banner needs a few big words and a strong colour. We'll mock up the layout at real size so you can judge it before it prints.
Last, think about where the sign is going. Some permanent business signs in Calgary need a permit, and development notice signs have rules set by the City. We'll help you with the printing side and tell you when it's worth checking with the City or your landlord first.

FAQ
Sign Shop questions
How much do custom signs cost in Calgary?
Sign prices depend on size, material, quantity, single or double-sided printing, and whether you need a frame, stakes or installation. Ten coroplast lawn signs and one large storefront panel are very different jobs. Tell us what you need and we'll email you a detailed quote.
Do you design signs or do I need my own artwork?
We do both. Our in-house designers can build a sign from your logo and a few notes, or we can prepare print-ready files you already have. Either way, you approve a proof before anything prints.
Can you install the signs you print?
Yes. We install signs, window graphics, wall murals and decals at locations around Calgary. Let us know the site details when you ask for a quote so we can plan the install.
Do I need a permit for my business sign in Calgary?
Some permanent signs do, depending on the type, size and location. Temporary signs and window graphics often have different rules. Check with the City of Calgary and your landlord before ordering a permanent sign, and we'll build it to whatever they approve.
Can I walk in to talk about a sign?
Yes. Walk-ins are welcome and you don't need an appointment. Bring photos of the spot where the sign will go and any measurements you have.
