Booklet printing and binding in Calgary
Manuals, catalogues, programs, magazines. If it has pages, we can print it and bind it under the same roof.

Quick answer
SURE Print Foothills prints and binds custom booklets in Calgary, including catalogues, employee manuals, event programs, magazines and workbooks. We offer saddle stitch, coil and wire-O binding, with design, printing and finishing all done in-house at our shop at 3660 60 Ave SE. Every order gets a proof.
Booklets take more planning than most print jobs. Page counts have to work with the binding, images can't disappear into the spine, and the page order has to be right after the sheets are folded and nested. We sort that out before the job goes anywhere near a press.
The binding depends on how the booklet gets used. A twelve-page event program is perfect stapled. A training manual that has to lie flat on a desk while someone follows along needs coil or wire-O. We'll recommend one based on your page count and what the reader will be doing with it.
Options
Binding options
Saddle stitch
Folded sheets stapled through the spine. Clean, affordable and ideal for programs, catalogues, newsletters and magazines. Page counts need to be in multiples of four.
Coil binding
A plastic spiral through punched holes. The booklet opens fully flat and can fold back on itself, which is handy for manuals and workbooks.
Wire-O binding
A double loop of metal wire. It lies flat like coil but looks sharper, so it's popular for presentations, proposals and calendars.
Covers
Self cover (same paper throughout) or a heavier cover stock to protect the pages and stand up on a shelf.
Colour or black and white
Full colour throughout, or colour covers with black and white interiors to keep text-heavy manuals affordable.

Why booklet quotes need more detail
Booklet pricing moves with page count, trim size, whether the inside pages are colour or black and white, the cover stock, the binding and where it's shipping. That's why we ask for all of it up front. If you're not sure of your final page count yet, give us a range and we'll quote a couple of options.
FAQ
Booklets & Binding questions
How much does booklet printing cost in Calgary?
It depends on the number of pages, the booklet size, colour or black and white interiors, cover stock, binding type and quantity. Send us those details and we'll email a quote. If you're unsure on page count, a rough range works to start.
What's the difference between coil and wire-O binding?
Both let the booklet open flat. Coil is a flexible plastic spiral that can fold all the way back. Wire-O is a metal double loop that looks more polished. Wire-O is common for presentations and calendars, while coil is popular for manuals and workbooks.
Why does saddle stitch need pages in multiples of four?
Each sheet is folded in half to make four pages, then the sheets nest inside each other and get stapled. If your content lands on an odd number, we can add a notes page or adjust the layout.
Can you print just a few copies?
Yes. Short runs print on our Xerox digital presses, which makes small quantities practical. Larger runs can move to offset.
